Macmillan at Work

Here is an example of a project I completed while I was a Digital Editor at Macmillan Cancer Support.

Intro text

I wrote this text for a stakeholder while working as a Digital Editor at Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan at Work offers training and resources to employers to enable them to support employees affected by cancer. My goal was to make their services clear and provide a straightforward sign up message.

Here you can see:

  • an appropriate image which reflects the brand

  • bullet points to break up the text and make the offering clear

  • a call-to-action provided through a button.

Accordion section

  • Bullet points help to break up the text.

  • An accordion neatly separates the information and makes navigation easier for people.

  • Headings help to keep the information tidy.

Further questions section

  • Contact and ‘donate’ information gives workplaces an opportunity to engage with the charity, if they’re not quite ready to sign up to the initiative.

  • Lots of helpful hyperlinks to direct people to relevant pages.

  • A logo helps to convey trust and validates the information.
